    Enhanced safety measures for shows and venues

    In order to make your visit back to the theatre-land a safe and pleasant experience, we're working with venues to find out what additional safety measures have been put in place. These may be different for each venue and can include any ot the following:

    • All staff wearing masks
    • All visitors asked to wear masks
    • All visitors provided with masks
    • All visitors provided with gloves
    • Regular visible cleaning of all touchable surfaces before and after performances
    • One way routing in building to minimise contact
    • Monitoring people’s temperature on arrival
    • Signage regarding social distancing etiquette
    • Regular announcements regarding social distancing etiquette
    • Paperless or print at home tickets
    • Digital rather than paper programmes
    • Self-cleaning antibacterial door handle covers
    • Limited numbers with socially distanced seating
    • Being asked to wash hands on arrival
    • Food and drink in sealed, disposable containers
    • Pre-order food and drinks online
    • Availability of hand sanitiser
    • No doors to open
    • Plexiglass screens at all serving counters
    • Socially distanced amenities (bar and toilet)
    • Theatres displaying special safety certificate
    • Declaration on entry to confirm you have no Covid-19 symptoms
    • Cash free venue - contactless payments only
    • All visitors asked to wear gloves

    Where possible we're displaying this safety badge to show venues and shows that have reassured us on their COVID-19 safety credentials. Look out for messages on shows and venues that inform you exactly what measures are in place.
